Mark your calendar!! This Saturday Emily with her stunning Turtlepurl Yarn will be at the shop from 12:00pm-4:00pm. AND as an added bonus, Ilona, of Mable and Rose will have her Stitch Marker Bar set up all day with me at the shop! I can’t wait!

I’m face painting in the Heritage Centre today until 3:00pm! The shop is open until 5:00pm.

Today’s events for Pirates Days are not cancelled-just slightly modified! It will be moving inside the Heritage Centre! Entertainment, fun pirates and games and I will be face painting again! 12:00-3:00pm. All the shops are open from 12:00-5:00 and the parking lot is open again!!

The Thieves Market is on this evening to launch the Pirate Festival. Vendors, live music and a bouncy castle!! All the shops and food places are open. And the smell of the tacos from the Coastal Cookhouse booth kept wafting into the shop and I couldn’t resist any longer. So delicious! Come on down-it’s all going on until 8:00pm.

Look at all the new Opal! So many colours and this isn’t even all of them! The shop is open from 10:00am-8:00pm today! Tonight is the kick-off for the Pirate Festival. There will be an evening market, bouncy castle, live music and all the shops open until 8:00! Arrrrrr you ready? 🏴‍☠️

On my mini vacation I had the opportunity to check out Wools on the Corner, and, to buy wool!! It’s a gorgeous little shop and such a wonderful owner. I encourage anybody going for a drive through Bridgetown in the valley to pop in while you’re on your roadtrip!

Well here we are in the middle of August.
What a great summer it's been from traveling with the best of friends ,meeting new customers and seeing regulars and even surprise visits from folks from the yarn world.
It was a pleasure to meet and visit with Leanne from The Violet Unicorn!!
Can't wait to visit at her place 😍

Oh I’m so HAPPY! I get a few days away every summer to my friend’s cottage where I can relax, float on my unicorn and knit! Thank you Davilyn!

Estelle Worsted yarn is a workhorse of a yarn. Wool and acrylic so it’s durable, washable and the colours are lovely. Super soft too!

HUGE summer restock! Fully loaded with Sudz cotton, Flotte Socke sock yarns, bamboo sock yarns, cotton sock yarns, Waxing Moon sock yarns and Eucalan fibre wash (large and small bottles). All the fluff to make the stuff! 😃🦄
