SUPPLY + DEMAND | Some things we noticed about the current bike supply with sky-high demand.
- Components are becoming less available to bike manufacturers. Lead times are 1-2 years instead of 1-2 months
- Prices are going up. Brands are raising bike MSRPs across the board
- Big companies are ordering big component quantities, Small companies are getting squeezed out.
- 2nd tier component brands with good products are getting discovered and spec'd.

Your thoughts? Will it change your behavior? Do you think the current high demand for bikes will continue?

well, here we are, here we is....
It's a strange world when we have more bikes in for repair than we have to sell.
Calling every supplier we use for some glimmer of hope.
The excitement of having a few bikes show up and sell faster than they can be assembled.
And then.....nothing. Sold our last real BMX bike today. Maybe more in a week to ten days?

We had more bikes 43 years ago on the day I opened.

Fun Times.

But look at the weather. It's beautiful for May, let alone April.
Can't find a new bike? Where's your "old" one? Air it up. Roll it around the block. Wave, don't engage...we are in a lockdown after all. But feel the wind in your face, in your hair if you have any.

We will beat this.
