WHAT ARE MALA BEADS? Malas have been used for centuries as tools in meditation. Each mala has 108 beads, sometimes with an additional “guru” bead, and are made from semi-precious stones, seeds, and wood. You don’t have to be a yogi to wear a mala; mala beads can be worn day-to-day to manifest a certain intention or used on the mat during practice in finding calm and clarity. WHO ARE WE? Our malas are hand-knotted and made with authentic materials from around the world. Growing up in North Western Ontario installed a love in us for the outdoors and an untameable sense of adventure, while the practice of yoga brought a sense of tranquility unmatched by anything else we had experienced. Our company was born from this intersection. We believe in living to explore, to understand, to accomplish, to enjoy, to let go, and to love.
