đ¸ A little PSA from your local florist!
When you order flowers online, do you know how much of what youâre paying actually makes it to the florist creating your arrangement?
Many of the floral websites you find online are actually order gatherers; a middleman that takes your order, keeps a portion of what youâve paid, and then sends the remaining amount to a local florist to fill and deliver.
So, while you may have spent $150 with the intention of sending a beautiful $150 arrangement, the florist receiving that order could be working with significantly less; and they still need to cover the flowers, supplies, labour and delivery within that amount.
Itâs something many people simply donât know, and itâs one of the reasons we always encourage you to order directly from a local florist whenever you can. đ
Whether the flowers are going across town or across the province, you can search for a florist in the recipientâs area and contact them directly. More of the money youâre spending goes toward the arrangement you intended to send, and youâre supporting the local shop actually creating it.
Skip the middleman. Call local. Get more flowers for your money. đˇ
