Stephen & Chris were back for round 2 and what a day they had! From the time we stopped the boat, till we ended the day, it poured rain. The roof definitely helped with the misery as they managed to land 5 sturgeon. We cut it short when the NE winds just got out of hand, causing the boat positioning to rotate 180 degrees. A tough but productive outing!

Stephen & Chris had a tough and windy outing today. They wanted to catch a sturgeon and despite huge rollers, they both managed to get their first ones. Along with a big catfish too! We fished in 2 to 3 foot rollers from, opposite the current, but somehow made it work. Eventually we had to pull the plug and spent the remainder of the day on bass. Plan B definitely worked out!

Peter & Dave were in from Toronto and fished with me today. Of course we had a big NE wind, making it a challenge. I had them on fish from the start right until the very end of the trip. A half day got extended as the fish were still biting. Not a bad way to end the day! Banana or not, the day was a successful one, again!

Rich brought his girlfriend CC out today and boy did she put a clinic on! They both landed a bunch of fish but she definitely caught more and the biggest! She overcame the cold weather and had a blast! I don't think he'll have any problem taking her out again! She's a keeper!

Gaetan flew solo today & had a great time catching bass. He found out quickly that these fish were very lethargic and needed a slower presentation in order to get bit. All good as he adjusted quickly and monopolized on the bites! We even ended the day with a few walleye before pulling the boat out!

Another cold morning, but hot fishing today! Kodiac, Sarah and her father Gilles spent most of the day fishing sturgeon and caught several small ones. Bass were also landed by everyone, while trying for the dinosaurs. Nothing giant, but still worth the time spent looking for them!

Alina and her husband had a great time today, catching all kinds of big smallies. Being from the Ukraine, they weren't use to fishing like this and ended the day earlier than expected. Right after landing a giant sturgeon on a dropshot, in deep water! What a freaking battle!
