A little late but better than never. Another year went by of creating??? What?!!? You guys have been so kind to me and I am ever so thankful. This year has been so full of learning curves, new experiences and amazing opportunities that I just feel so incredibly lucky to be where I am. From just doing crochet, to learning butterfly pinning; even getting up to pinning larger insects, and even picking up cross stitch as another new art form.
Getting really comfortable with my weird side, and meeting so many others who are into the same art/interests makes me feel so whole and welcome in the community. Really switching over my crochet style from the basic small market items to more complicated, alternative products that feel more myself to create. Expanding my creative side and meeting so many unique and amazing individuals through the process of expression.
Speaking of those amazing experiences of course; the amazing opportunity to partner and work with to showcase their amazing butterfly species in spectacular works of art and science after passing on. A special way to learn more about these small, delicate but complex creatures in an artistic mindset.
And really getting into school, which of course has slowed business down a little. Coming May, I will be on an archaeological field study for a month which is an amazing opportunity to grow my life and schooling experiences to further my studies.
The biggest thank you to everyone who continues to stick with me on my journey of growth, change and self expression. And to those people I have met this year who continue to be a large part in my life, thank you. Thank you for always rooting for me to do my best even when I struggle hard. This is just the start of my artistic journey, and cannot wait to further expand my learning and life experiences 🖤🪳
