When you spend the day at Best Coast Market, you are doing more than shopping small.

You are supporting local artists, makers, and small businesses. You are helping keep money in our community. And you are also helping support people who need it most.

Since October 2021, Best Coast Market has contributed more than $17,400 to The Food Bank Network of the Bay of Islands Ministerial Association, Inc.

This Saturday, $1 from every admission will once again be donated back into our community.

• Becky Maher Art — Greeting cards and prints inspired by Newfoundland scenes and colours

• Purple Butterfly Paper — Leather handstitched journals, handmade notebooks, bookmarks, and moosehide journals

• Stained glass by the sea — Stained glass pieces made with copper foil, solder, zinc, and vintage snowshoe frames

• Tiny Tides Studio — Hand-painted bookmarks, keychains, earrings, and small abstract canvases

• Kove Artistry — Framed seaglass artwork, ornaments, greeting cards, wine charms, and more

• Chasinwhales — Copper bowls, whale tails, wall art, cookware, cuffs, and bracelets

New to Best Coast Market this spring, Flavour Lab is bringing handcrafted French macarons in flavours like chocolate, vanilla raspberry, Biscoff, and mango, along with delicate cream puffs filled with homemade custard. Beautifully made and carefully balanced, these are the kinds of treats that feel just as nice to give as they do to keep for yourself.

Olga has spent years refining her recipes and techniques, which shows in the careful flavours, delicate textures, and polished finish of each dessert.
