Skin Goop www.skingoop.ca is THE place to look! Skin Goop does NOT use marketing/claims ingredients. We use do NOT over-harvested natural ingredients. In Comox, B.C.

Our products are NOT magical, they will NOT make you look younger but they DO work and are SAFE. Our skin lotions, creams and lip balms are never made with petroleum-based petrolatum or mineral oil. Instead, we use local, organic bison tallow, local, organic water buffalo tallow and local, organic beeswax. Plant oils are organic when possible. Our soap contains locally-sourced lard which we render

, clean and purify for our soap-making, plus coconut, olive oil and sustainably harvested palm oil. Our lavender soap contains our own organic lavender essential oil and buds. Our lavender talc is scented with the 4 varieties of lavender we planted and tend in the yard :). Try Skin Goop, you might just love our stuff!

We have MANY differently fragrances (or NOT fragranced) shampoo (& body) bars to choose from.

YES, you can use this for your ENTIRE BODY, not just your hairs. In fact, syndet bars (which is what shampoo bars are) are MORE GENTLE on those with sensitive skin than soap. I know, whodda thunk it?

AND, since this is an anhydrous product, so long as you let it dry between uses, and NOT sit in water, it will hang around for a few years, unlike a liquid shampoo which MUST have a preservative in it, due to its water content. Preservatives DO have a shelf-life, so after a few years, liquid shampoo might not be safe to use due to microbial contamination. That's life! We are surrounded by microbes. Some of them are harmful, but not all of them.

The coloring is done using locally-sourced (from our yard or the nearby farm stand) plant bits. Why get mined oxides or synthetic colorants when there are wonderful things to use that do NO HARM in their production, and are already here, not flown in or trucked in from far away?

My page here is similar to my vacuum cleaner when I plug it in & push down on the clever on/off switch...it SUCKS!

I really loathe updating this, and I am quite useless when it comes to most things on 'the FB', to be painfully honest.

These SOLID hair conditioner (and shave!) bars eliminate the plastic bottles used for liquid hair conditioners. AND, they contain some local, organic Water Buffalo tallow SO you are helping us make use of this wonderful tallow. Did you know that the fat the tallow is made of used to just get thrown away? Such a waste. Luckily, we are rescuing it and using it in some of our products.

These bars are ALSO great for shaving, again, eliminating the need for a non-refillable container of liquid or foam shaving cream.
