✨ A HUGE thank you! ✨
Yesterday’s open drop-off was a huge success, and we brought in SO many amazing pieces! We’re so excited to get everything processed, priced, and out onto the floor. 🩷🌿
Moving forward, we’ll continue releasing our consignment appointments online on the 1st and 15th of each month.We’ve found that this shorter booking window helps us manage our schedule and, hopefully, improve the no-show rate—which we continue to struggle with, especially during the busy summer months.
Just a gentle reminder that we carefully plan our inventory flow, staffing, and schedules around your appointments. When someone doesn’t show up, it can really throw a wrench into our plans.
Of course, we completely understand that emergencies and unexpected things come up. ❤️ But if you need to cancel or change your appointment, please try to give us at least 24 hours’ notice whenever possible.
We appreciate your understanding, your communication, and—most of all—your continued support of Sweet Salvage. It truly means so much to us!

Join us 📍downtown Courtenay for our last Summer open drop off.

It’s a little bit of a tricky time of year as we begin transitioning into fall. That being said, we’re still expecting a warm September/October.

So what are we still collecting?
Think of late summer, boho styles in warm/earthy colours

Consider bringing us:

We’ve put together a FAQs post to answer some of the questions we hear most often! Many of these answers can also be found on our website, but we hope having them all in one place makes things even easier.

At Sweet Salvage, we’re incredibly grateful for our amazing community of consigners. We process a very high volume of inventory every week, and our appointment-based intake system allows us to stay organized so every consignment receives the care and attention it deserves.

A few friendly reminders:
🌿 Please book one consignment appointment per month.
🌿 If you only have a few items, consider waiting until you have closer to our 20-item limit before booking.
🌿 Our appointment-based system helps us manage inventory efficiently and fairly for everyone.
One thing we’d like to kindly ask is that you please don’t message us requesting exceptions to our appointment policy.We truly wish we could accommodate everyone, but making exceptions wouldn’t be fair to the many consigners who patiently wait for their scheduled appointments. Unfortunately, drop-in consignments simply aren’t a system that works for our business.
We completely understand that our process may not suit everyone’s needs, and that’s okay. Some wonderful local consignment stores operate on a drop-in model, which may be a better fit for some consigners.
Our goal is always to provide every consigner with the same level of care, fairness, and respect. Setting clear boundaries and following consistent guidelines allows us to keep things flowing smoothly and continue offering the best experience we can.

What an incredible Day. 💛

To everyone who came out to support our 1st Sweet Salvage Charity Event- THANK YOU! Your kindness, generosity, and enthusiasm made this day so special. Because of this amazing community, we were able to make a meaningful impact while celebrating sustainable fashion together.

Special acknowledgement to Downtown Courtenay for organizing the awesome Market Day event and to Tal-Glow | Tallow Skincare & Makeup 💋🐮, my sister Leah, as well as the Sweet Salvage team Meghan, Sovee & Emma.

This was our very first charity event, and after such an overwhelming response, we hope to make it an annual tradition.
