Meet Esvin, Hermelindo, and Gustavo, some of the amazing people behind our Snapdragon harvest!

Every stem is cut by hand by members of our greenhouse team. They carefully harvest each Snapdragon at the perfect stage and handle every bunch with care.

We're so grateful for our hardworking crew! Their dedication is what makes it possible for us to grow premium flowers right here in beautiful BC. 💐

We love our Lilies! 🌱 Swipe to see their incredible progress just a few weeks after planting our Hybrid Lilies outside in mid-April.

To protect the plants from heat burn, we cover them with a breathable mesh. It’s one of the many small but important steps that helps produce our high-quality, beautiful blooms.

Celebrating an incredible Mother’s Day season with an even more incredible team 🌸

Yesterday we came together for a company-wide lunch to recognize all the hard work, long hours, and teamwork that went into making our busiest season of the year a success. Thank you to everyone for your dedication and effort, and to our COO Corne for ending the afternoon with a heartfelt speech recognizing the amazing work across the company.

Every bouquet starts with our harvest team. Flowers are carefully picked, sent through our trimming machine via conveyor belt, bundled and trimmed by hand, then placed into buckets and loaded onto rolling shelves for our in-house bouquet production and distribution. It takes teamwork at every step to keep Quik’s Farm blooming. Thank you to our amazing team for making it all possible!

We loved welcoming the attendees of the National Holstein Convention Coach Tour to the farm last month! The group toured our seasonal and mum greenhouses and got to follow the growing process of our lilies and mums, from bulb and plug all the way to harvest. We shared more about our crop cycles, soil steaming and sterilization process, climate and light management, and how our bouquets are produced for mass market retailers.

On average, we harvest more than 200,000 mums each week, and thanks to steaming our soil, we never have to w**d. Space is always at a premium on the farm, so after harvest we’re planting again the very same day or the next!

We really appreciated all of the thoughtful questions and interest in what we do here on the farm. As a thank you, everyone went home with a Quik’s Farm bouquet of their own! 💐

What happens to the bouquets after our quality huddles? They are put up for donation! 100% of the donation goes to the Bethlehem Foundation Canada, a charity that provides essential care and support to people in communities around Pretoria, South Africa. The staff can donate $5 and up for small bouquets and $10 and up for large bouquets. Adela, our receptionist, looks forward to donating every week!
