The Village Emporium The Village Emporium is an awesome gift shop with reasonable prices and a wide variety of both local and 'from away' items! You should visit! Hi Everyone!

If you do not know about The Village Emporium already.. then let me tell you a bit about it. Angela Kitching & Pat McNamee owned the Emporium and opened October 1, 2006. In 2023 Pat retired from the partnership but will still be seen working some days 🙂

The shop is based around people (vendors) renting spaces within the store to sell their own products whether it be handcrafted or not. As long a

s it's something different from what we already sell.. you can join us! Spaces are rented by the month and the sweet thing is..you don't have to be there to work! We do it all for you! Come by now and then to check on your stock..bring new product..pick up your sales cheque.. how much better can it get? Vendor products range from handsewn goods, soaps and body products, artwork, photography, jewellery, old wood creations, signs, oils & vinegars, general giftware, books, souvenirs, greeting cards, a children's section, ladies consignment clothing and other unique odds & ends

What the renting vendors do not provide..we sell ourselves. Items such as souvenirs, shawls, Christmas product, books, jewellery of all kinds (sterling, pearls, fashion), purses, postcards, mats ( hand-hooked), soaps, etc. We sell many locally handcrafted items ourselves. We are open 7 days a week from mid-April to Christmas Eve and 3 days a week through the winter. Come on by, say hello and check out the store!
