Strawberry season has begun 🍓

Store is stocked up from this mornings harvest. Quantities are limited right now so we are not offering a plat price at this time. Pints are $8 each. We will be picking/stocking at least every Friday/saturday.

If you are wanting flats right away we can order in conventional grown B.C. strawberries from the mainland. Please let us know 🙂

We have a little update for you…

The Root Report has been such a fun part of our winter and spring.

But around here… the seasons tell us what to focus on.

Right now, it’s all hands on deck in the fields. Planting, growing, and getting ready for everything that’s coming.

So we’re hitting pause on the weekly Root Report (don’t worry, it’ll be back ).

In the meantime, we’ll be sharing more of what’s happening behind the scenes and highlighting our own fresh, in season produce as it comes in.

Root Report April 29-May 5. This weeks flyer ironically relates to our past week with the farm. We were so busy planting that the flyer fell a bit short. When plants are ready to be planted they need to be planted. Which is why this week we are offering 25% off all 6 packs veggie starts, and still buy 5 get 1 free. These plants are in great condition but definitely need to be planted soon!

Within a couple weeks we will have another round of the same items as well as several varieties of peppers and tomatoes. Squash, zucchini cucumber and melons likely closer to the end of May
