Canada Day seemed like a fitting start to the next adventure! I will keep this page going just so you can enjoy my sparkling wit and immaculate taste! In the meantime my friends are trying to get me back playing competitive Magic. And if they succeed you may be able to find me and 30 years of bad beat stories at Exor Games. It'll be like home because they've got all my cards!! Except the Kird Apes! So if you regret not picking up obscure foreign boxes or need the hard to find card. I bet they've got it! I always thought I would live deep underground at 99 Grafton forever. Right on the hot corner of the city in an ancient building that once hosted legendary bars and where I spent so many great nights, long before I turned it into a comic book shop. But the time has come to move on. Just like I revisit my favourite chapters in comic books, Watchmen 5 (Fearful Symmetry) and Animal Man 5 (The Coyote Gospel), I will forever revisit and remain connected to all the people I've met and events that I got take part in during this time. I've been lucky to become friends and family to many people because I chose to open a door and try and sell some comics and games. I will continue to promote and enjoy the amazing work of local creators and be humbled by their talent and passion. I never quite got the hang of retail and capitalism isn't a strong suit but I enjoyed immersing myself in my passion for Comic Books and Gaming for the last 24 years. I'll be shutting down at the end of June and July 1st will be my Independance Day! So at least I've got that going for me.

TLDR; Lightning Bolt Comics will be closing June 30th. Please come buy stuff so I don't have to store it forever. Good Deals to be had!
