Our flower u-pick last weekend generated $950.00 for healthy food programs at our local elementary school, Dr. Arthur Hines.
With another u-pick or two this season, we hope to exceed last year's donation!

I take off my "Ulnooweg" hat and put on my "Barefoot Blooms's" hat. Summers tend to be hard for Chris and I to connect. So, today's market prep and tomorrow's market is like date night for us!!!

A wonderful day at our gardens! The u-pick was a huge success! Stay tuned for the donation amount to go towards the healthy food program at Dr Arthur Hines elementary school.
For now, i want to share this picture.. The snips and cute little stuffy were left behind. We will hold on to them here at our place (4624 Hwy 215) and/or we can bring them to the farmers" market next Saturday morning at Alderney Landing. They're in safe hands until they make their way back to their owners!
