Sweet peas are slowly starting to give us their first blooms of the season! They smell amazing and are so old English, Romance novel vibes!

I cant wait for the others varieties to bloom for the first time!

Ok my daisy lovers!!!

What do you think of these Robinson Daisy's?!?! I started them last year but this year is their first big flush!

Long stems, early blooming. The internet says i should get a second flush this season. I noticed they started blooming a week or two earlier than our native daisies here in Ontario, zone B.

And some sources online call them red and pink but i think its just a dark pink magenta to light pink. I wouldnt say red.

I kinda like em! Have you grown these? Will they get a second flush? Im considering growing more! Im liking them so far!

Harvested a handful of Ranunculus, anemones, stock, allium and Robinson daisies tonight and the colors were so vibrant and pretty! I can't wait to use these in my bouquet subscriptions this week and in the dance recital bouquet orders I have this weekend! 😍😍😍

If you need a bouquet at any time, please just shoot me a message to order one for local pickup in Carleton Place!

A recent pressed flower comission i did. I got to do some research on these runes that were requested and found it so very fascinating! I love how they turned out!

Some gorgeous bouquets that went out today for my Thursday subscribers!

I try to document my subscription flowers every week. Because they change so much. But throughout the season. It's really cool to see how the seasonal blooms flow! How ingredients change, colors, textures etc.

Got a good handful of Anemones and Ranunculus from the front garden today! They are a bit behind this year compared to last even though they were started indoors the same time and planted out at the same time as last year.

We flower farmers learn to flow with mother nature. Anytime we try to force things we are just asking for her to humble us as she usually does. Its a great lesson that we cant control everything and if we follow her flow, we will be rewarded. The blooms are always better when we dont force them.

Letting go of the things we cannot control is always a good mantra to muse on and remind ourselves of.

Each year I try to give a little back to my community. I hope these arrangements bring some smiles to the seniors here.

Are there any other retirement or senior homes in the Carleton Place and Mississippi Mills area that I could surprise with some flowers? Ive brought some to the High St retirement home in the past but I think its been sold?!? I drove by this morning and wasnt sure it was the same anymore.

Let me know!
