L had a vision and he saw it through.

After shopping around the city, he chose Marlow Design for the craftsmanship, the value, and the chance to design something truly custom for her. Every line of the render was refined to his liking until it matched exactly what he pictured.

Because L & E were both teachers, the design had to be as practical as it was beautiful. So we created a cathedral setting with secure petal prongs (her favourite detail) and a soft floral pattern underneath, cradling a 4.08ct cushion lab-grown diamond with lab-grown diamond side stones.

He even brought her in mid-process to see the ring (without telling her it was hers), just to watch her fall in love. 🥹

Then came the surprise proposal in the mountains. 🏔️ She said yes.

Our catalogue pieces - like this 10K yellow gold solitaire with vintage milgrain detailing with an 8x6 mm emerald-cut DEF moissanite - are predesigned, but still made just for the client.

They chose the metal, the stone, and added an engraving ("Y&A" in Corinthia font 🥹).

Typical catalogue timeline: 3–4 weeks (in most instances, we can rush a piece to arrive sooner)

A Tale of Two Sisters

One undeniably stunning heirloom.

When one daughter inherited her mom's original birthstone ring — aquamarine, sapphires, and colour-changing alexandrite set in a delicate half-bezel — her sister felt the pull of that same memory.

So we recreated it. Stone for stone. Setting for setting. A second ring, brand new yet beautifully familiar, so both sisters could carry a piece of their mother with them.

One on each hand, connected by the same love.

Heirlooms aren't just passed down. Sometimes, they're reimagined so the story can keep being told.

Yellow sapphires are said to carry abundance and positive energy. It’s no wonder Ian was drawn to one.

He already knew his partner adored yellow gemstones, and with guidance from our designer Maanansi, he chose to propose with a striking 1.4 ct. lab-grown marquise yellow sapphire. A rope detail had always lived in his vision for her ring, and it brought the entire design to life.

Ian had explored countless options before coming to Marlow Design, but he discovered that going custom was the only way to truly capture the FEELING he was chasing.

The Lake Louise proposal was a complete surprise. The ring came to life beyond what he imagined, and she got the ring of her dreams.
