🧡Happy Indigenous Peoples Day 🧡

Today we celebrate the people who first called this land home. We remember the struggle is and tragedies they injured. We honour their place in and contributions to the shared story of Turtle Island.

Moonstone Creation’s Little Free Gallery

Opening Day: June 16, 2026

Location: Outside Moonstone Native Gallery & Gift shop, inside the fence by the Medicine Wheel sign.

Expanding on the little free library concept, Yvonne Jobin, artist and owner of Moonstone Creation Gallery and Gifts, had a dream and was inspired to create her own “little free gallery” as a way of giving back to the community.

“To me the dream was a strong message. First Nations people know how to give. Sharing is our wealth. My hope is to Invite people to respond to it. To share my abundance, and share our culture of reciprocity; giving and receiving,” explained Yvonne.

The little free gallery will be stocked with items that are free to take, and people can also place items they want to gift.

“In Native culture, we don’t have the same attachment to things. The reason we Give Away is to give gratitude for abundance, or for a loved one recovering from illness and to acknowledge the blessings in our lives.
