Lake Louise is going to look a lot different for tomorrow’s wedding than it did for this snowy March celebration!

I love living in a country that gets all 4 seasons even if some are waaay longer than the others! But at least we get to do pretty weddings in the snow for half the year!

Nature Antique Shades pansies (Viola X wittrockiana) in all their glory! I have never loved a pansy so much đź’•

When my sweet peas arrived extra short (too short for a bouquet) I subbed them for these gorgeous pansies and I love the colour, shape and interest they added to the bouquet. According to the Seattle Floral Standards book the standard height of these pansies is 8-12 inches but grew these gorgeous blooms as tall as 14 inches!!!! So yes- I wanted them!!! A win for me and my lovely bride Minji!!!

Note: The pansies don’t hold up super well out of water but I was onsite all day at the wedding and could monitor the bouquet and adjust as needed. They held up beautifully all day in the bud vase centerpiece though!!!
