Our focus is to create a sustainable livelihood for artisans by consistently selling their handcrafted items. When they have an income they can rely on, they can send their children to school, afford decent housing, take care of other family members, start programs in their local community, afford medical care and can plan for their future.

Hi everyone, we know there have been a lot of concerns regarding the air quality for tomorrow’s event and we wanted to provide an update.

As of right now, Sunfest is still running as planned and we are continuing to monitor the situation closely. We will follow any updates or recommendations provided by Environment Canada and will share any changes through our official channels.

Most importantly, we want everyone to take their health seriously. If you have a compromised health condition or feel that the air quality may impact you, we encourage you to stay home and prioritize your well-being.

Cambodian bombshell jewellery tells a story of resilience, turning a brutal history into pieces of art.

Cambodian artisans are transforming brass once used in warfare into powerful symbols of peace, hope, and resilience. Through their craftsmanship, they reject the violence that once devastated their country and celebrate its recovery. Cambodia has a long and rich tradition of artistry and design, but much of its cultural heritage was destroyed under the Khmer Rouge, leaving both its creative legacy and economy in ruins.

Today, bomb casings from the Khmer Rouge regime, the Vietnam War, and the U.S. bombing campaign authorised by former President Richard Nixon remain scattered across the country. Skilled jewellers are giving these remnants a new purpose by turning them into handcrafted jewellery. In doing so, they create meaningful works of art while supporting economic growth, providing employment opportunities, and helping to reduce poverty.
