Our athletes generously donate their time to help make LS7 such a special day for everyone. To help support the Foundation's fundraising efforts, Premium Autograph Wristbands will be available for $77 at the Premium Autograph Booth. All proceeds go directly to the LS7 Foundation.
Tournament participants do not need to purchase a wristband. Your participant wristband already includes autograph access.

Ann-Renée Desbiens made history as the first female player ever drafted into the Quebec Junior AAA Hockey League—the second-highest level of men’s junior hockey in Québec, just below the QMJHL. She was selected by the Loups de La Tuque but was cut before playing a game, as the coach claimed there was no value in developing female players. That same year, she also took part in the Shawinigan Cataractes training camp.

In 2012, Desbiens made a playoff appearance with the Montréal Stars of the Canadian Women’s Hockey League (CWHL), helping the team capture the Clarkson Cup.

Following the 2023 merger of the PWHPA and the Premier Hockey Federation to form the Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL), Desbiens was widely seen as a top free-agent target. On September 5, she was officially announced as one of the first three signings for the new PWHL Montreal team, joining fellow Team Canada stars Marie-Philip Poulin and Laura Stacey.

Internationally, Ann-Renée Desbiens has been a key presence in goal for Team Canada. She captured a silver medal at the 2015 IIHF Women’s World Championship and followed that with another silver at the 2018 Winter Olympics. At the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, Desbiens played a pivotal role in securing gold for Canada, and she added to her Olympic résumé with a silver medal at the 2026 Winter Olympics, continuing to deliver strong performances on the international stage.

Kristýna Kaltounková is a Czech forward from Vlašim, who has rapidly emerged as one of the most promising young stars in women’s hockey. She played five seasons of NCAA Division I hockey at Colgate Raiders, where she became the program’s all-time leader in goals (111) and finished second in career points with 233. Known for her speed, scoring touch, and physical style, she hit the 20-goal mark every season, totaled 48 points in her final year, and earned First-Team ECAC and All-American honors. Her contributions made her the first Czech player ever to be named a finalist for the prestigious Patty Kazmaier Memorial Award.

In 2025, Kaltounková was selected first overall in the Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL) Draft by the New York Sirens and promptly signed a three-year contract. Her arrival marks a milestone for European players in North American women’s pro hockey, and she brings a potent mix of scoring, physicality, and leadership to the Sirens’ roster.

Internationally, Kaltounková has represented the Czechia women's national ice hockey team. In 2025, she made her senior Worlds debut and tied for team lead in scoring with six points across seven games, earning a spot on the tournament’s All-Star team — a strong signal of her readiness to compete at the highest level. Her success at both collegiate and international levels positions her as a rising force in women’s hockey globally

Marie-Philip Poulin is a Canadian ice hockey forward from Beauceville, Québec, widely regarded as one of the greatest female hockey players in the world. She developed through Quebec’s minor hockey system and quickly gained attention for her elite skill, hockey IQ, and scoring ability. Poulin played collegiate hockey at Boston University, where she was a consistent offensive threat, earning All-Conference honors and showcasing the leadership qualities that would define her career. Her combination of agility, vision, and clutch play made her a standout at every level.

In the Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL), Poulin has been a key player for Montréal Victoire, continuing to demonstrate her offensive dominance and leadership. She has been instrumental in her team’s success, contributing both goals and assists while often being relied upon in critical game situations. Her PWHL performance reflects her ability to elevate her play in high-stakes moments, making her a cornerstone of her team’s roster.

Internationally, Marie-Philip Poulin is best known for her heroic performances with the Canada women’s national team. She has competed at the 2026 Winter Olympics, where she earned a silver medal, adding to an already historic Olympic career that includes gold medals in 2010, 2014, and 2022, as well as silvers in 2018 and 2026, scoring multiple game-winning goals in crucial matches. Poulin has also earned numerous IIHF Women’s World Championship medals. Her legacy as “Captain Clutch” stems from her unmatched ability to perform in decisive moments, inspiring teammates and young players worldwide.
