Our Rayonled PAR+ Spectrum (available in our GLMF-720W model) is what truly sets us apart. It has the same full spectrum (as our GLMF-640 model) but with the addition of UVA and Far Red. This goes beyond PAR (400-700nm) and has been showing some amazing results. Traditionally lighting manufacturers have been concentrating on PAR alone (400-700nm) but with our knowledge of plants today, we are seeing going beyond PAR is extremely beneficial the the health of the canopy.
Some benefits of the addition of UVA:
- Plants react by making chemicals, antioxidants and enzymes to protect themselves
(They make their own sunscreen)
- Increases THC, CBD, terpenes, flavonoids, antioxidants / vitamins and pigmentation
- Helps inhibit mold growth and fungal development
Some benefits of the addition of Far Red:
- Plants are best able to make energy out of red light
- Promotes flowering, robust stem growth, proper node spacing
- Produces sugars and carbons which are essential parts of plant growth and the
building blocks for plant cells
- The red and blue combination allows for faster rate of photosynthesis
- Far-Red creates the emerson effect (signals to the lower stems to seek quality light)
These benefits are in addition to our Full Spectrum. This spectrum will be where the industry will be going and it is already in our fixture today.
