I would like to thank everyone who came out on Saturday to Brighton Springs Customer Appreciation Day and Sunny Days Day Program fundraiser..
We were able to raise $1300.00 for Sunny Days.

I would also like to thank the local artisans who donated also towards such a great cause., Dahlia May Flower Farm,signs by Reclaimed, Restored & Redeemed by Emily Koopmans quilts By Cheryl Bird. Expressions by RebeccaJewellery, Heartwood Products by Tom Mates,Essential Oil Bracelets by Carrie and Emma Gunter

Thank -you also to Catherine Stutt my Public Relations Manager who is always willing to promote our events.

To Just Like Granny's Bakery Brighton for their Delicious baked goods they provided, Rachel's Tarts , and DooDoo's Bakery It is wonderful how willing people are to give of their time and talent towards fundraising..
The entertainment provided by Stephanie Bird and R and R, Ralph and Ray ,completed a wonderful day.

The Blue Jay tickets were won by Rick Chapman and the beautiful quilt donated by Georgia Rogers was won by Jack Hilwerda.

Finally as many of you know we have sold our business and this event was very special to us because it not only helped support a great group of people but it brought together our family, friends and customers who have always been there for Mark and myself. We have been so blessed to be part of this wonderful community of Brighton and we hope you will welcome the new owner into Brighton as you have welcomed us.

We would like to invite our customers to a customer appreciation event on April 28th 9.00-2.00 pm.This event is to thank you for the many years of patronage,support and friendship you have given Brighton Springs.

The event will be used to support Sunny Days School a wonderful program for youth and young adults with a wide variety of disabilities.

Joining us will be the music of Stephanie Bird from 9-11 and RandR. 11-2.

We will be serving Doohers donuts and featuring Bobby's Coffee special price that day $12.99 for 24 k cups.Join us for pizza at lunch.

Local artisans will be selling their creations!
Dahlia May Flowers will have her gorgeous flowers and arrangements available for sale,Reclaimed Restored &Redeemed by Emily Koopmans offers unique custom made signs and furniture,Heartwood by Tom Mates offers beautiful hand carved wooden spoons and Bird houses.

We are happy to have Expressions by Rebecca on hand to showcase her one of a kind affordable jewellery.

What is an artisan sale without a home baked variety of award winning pies and tarts by Doo Doos Bakery, also tarts by Rachael's.

We will also have squares and cookies made by our hometown bakery ,Just Like Granny's!

PLEASE SHARE NOW HIRING: Brighton Springs

We are looking to hire a summer student for the months of May to August. This position will be Monday through Friday, with approximately 30 to 40 hours per week.

Duties: delivering water, water coolers and other products to customers and businesses; interacting with customers and co-workers, cleaning around the shop, filling water jugs.

Requirements: ability to work with others, physically fit (lifting 18L water jugs throughout the day).

To the many people who offered their time, their talents, their donations ,we cannot thank you enough for the support you gave . We are so fortunate to have the Chapman Family in our community who give their time and love unconditionally to these young adults. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your family!

Down at Single Brew Distribution we're getting pretty excited about our open house this Saturday in support of Sunny Days Day Program. This is a not-for-profit organization run from the heart of Brighton for youth and young adults with a wide variety of disabilities. We're proud to be part of their fundraising efforts this year, and applaud the Chapman family for championing this cause.

This Saturday October 1, our open house runs from 9 to 2. We welcome Brighton's incomparable RandR, who will be performing from 10 to 1. If you haven't heard Ralph De Jonge harmonizing with Ray Herbert, this is a great chance to hear some incredible music.

We're also thrilled to have Dahlia May Flower Farm's gorgeous flowers and arrangements available for sale. Dahlia May Flower Farm's flowers are stealing hearts throughout the region, from her farmgate on Stockdale Road to her regular vending at the Codrington Farmer Market and the Trenton Farmers' Market, and we know you'll fall in love, too.

For truly unique local products, Tom Mates of Heartwood Products is offering is hand-carved wooden spoons, and Cheryl Bird will bring a couple of her stunning barn quilts, which we've all seen as we tour the PEC Barn Quilt Trail.

For some bling, we're happy to have Expressions by Rebecca on hand with her locally made jewellery.

We'll have pies and butter tarts from St. Paul's Anglican Church, using heritage apples grown in a grove at the church.

It isn't a party without doughnuts from Doohers Bakery, and we'll have pizza from Brighton's very own Rosie's.

Of course, we'll have coffee, featuring Beaver_Rock. Our special price for the day is $13.99 for 24 K-cups with a portion of sales going to Sunny Days Day Program.

We're easy to find, and thanks to Willow Printing & Publishing Co, you just have to follow the signs.

Please join us. It's all about the generous folks of Brighton enjoying excellent music and food as we help a good cause.
