Well, I finally did it. I closed early today on account of the snow. Since we're looking down the barrel of yet another blizzard, I thought I should clarify some things about the delivery service I mentioned in my last post. First of all, it's happening NOW, and second, it's FREE. If you want something to read and you live between Colborne, Smithfield, the 401 and Lake Ontario, then you can have second-hand books delivered to your door for exactly the same price as I would charge in the store.

Now, back to the shovels and snow-blowers...

Well, it looks like it'll be a snowy winter folks, so here's an idea I'd like to cast before you: I'm thinking of offering to deliver books to people who live fairly close to the store. If you're short of reading material, just call or email the store, and if I have something you're interested in, I'll bring it to your doorstep. Payment on delivery (cash or e-transfer only, at this point).
For now, let's say that the delivery area is the zone bounded by Smithfield to the East, Colborne to the West, the 401 to the North, and the Lake to the South.
If there's enough interest, I'll look at making this a permanent arrangement.
