The problem with capping the ni****ne strength is that smokers who need higher concentrations to help them quit smoking will not be getting the required dosage to curb their addiction. We find that people start with a higher dosage and gradually lower it. This article states that people will have an easier time quitting with less ni****ne, but the reality is, smokers will either supplement with ci******es or just go back to smoking all together. Health Canada is always asking us to trust the science for things like vaccines so why will they not do the same with this smoking cessation? There is enough science and facts out there for them to do better than this. What is the real reason behind their decisions?

P.E.I. health officials are cracking down on the sale of the more potent ni****ne vapes. New federal regulations come into effect July 23 that ban retailers from selling them.

The proposed flavour ban for vapours would see a sharp rise in smoking rates and youth uptake. Flavors are key to helping the 4.6 million smokers in Canada quit smoking. We need to kill the stigma of what va**ng really is as a smoking cessation. With harm reduction of 95% (According to a study by health England), New Zealand, Ireland, Brittain and many other European countries have taken the stance of harm reduction in order to help their populations quit. In their recent gazette, Health Canada admits that a ban of flavours could result in a larger uptake of ci******es. This is truly a draconian stance on Canadian Health.
