Three Black Dogs Pottery Hi, my name is Patti Elliott. I create fully functional and decorative wheel thrown and hand built pottery in my home studio. My story.

Quite a few years ago my husband and I and our 2 dogs were camping in northern Ontario and we were shopping one day in town. We went into a pottery shop and got to chatting with the owner/potter. She gave us a tour of her studio and talked to us about her art. She was wearing overalls covered in clay and Birkenstocks and when I saw the beautiful pottery she was creating with her hands I thought to

myself this is what I want to do. So began my journey in clay. When my hands are in clay I feel connected to nature. It’s that connection that influences my nature inspired pieces. I create fully functional wheel thrown as well as hand built pottery to enhance your everyday life. Whether you’re enjoying a cup of tea in your favourite pottery mug or serving a meal to family and friends on a hand made platter, or it’s a decorative piece which brings you joy, all my work is made with love and care, from the wheel to the fire. The name Three Black Dogs Pottery is a tribute to our dogs who have been beloved members of our family over past years, Zoey, Zeus and Ruby Tuesday. I continue to explore the possibilities of clay in my home studio where I live with my husband and our 2 “un-black” dogs Bailey and Sophia.

So excited to see the new space completed!

So many beautiful changes happening. We are so over the moon to have so many messages and lovely people stopping by so excited to see the new space completed.
We will be open next Tuesday Aug 16th to everyone.
And as always even tho we are hard at work we are never truly closed to the public ❤️
