Using 12” x 12” designer series paper for card bases allows me to create multiple cards from one sheet. I cut the paper in half to make the flowers flow from front to back, which creates a pleasant, cohesive look. I fussy cut flowers and added dimension, while one card features a glittered butterfly and the other has a popped-up butterfly. Different sentiments and embellishments give each card a unique touch. papers and popped-up elements to give it extra dimension (because flat cards
are just too tame! 😉 ). There’s something so fun about farm animals
bringing big smiles. Who else loves a good 3D card moment? 🦬🧡

I'm back at my desk again after a long break due to a variety of things, but so happy to be creating again! 😊

Today's card is created with a background made from an embossing folder, colour ink and black ink. Then I added some butterfly die cuts, and a large leaf die on top. I saw this technique first from a fabulous Canadian cardmaker and loved it so much I had to do it! There are several different kinds of embossing folders this technique will work with. It's a great way to be creative with the folders you have on hand, to do something different with them.
Perfect card for a friend, or change the sentiment to match any occasion.
