Beautiful Raw Baltic Amber or as I like to see them, little golden drops of sunshine☀️
What really is it? Amber is not actually a gemstone, but a fossilized tree resin that is mined near the Baltic Sea. What makes it extra special is that it contains a substance called Succinic Acid. (Succinic acid is also a naturally occurring substance involved in several processes in the body). These beautiful beads come all the way from Lithuania where it is known to be of the best quality!
Why wear Amber? When we wear amber on the skin, our body heat causes it to release an oil containing succinic acid. This absorbs through the skin and basically acts as a natural ibuprofen, helping to block pain and reduce inflammation.
If you've ever seen babies and toddlers wearing necklaces or bracelets made from amber, that is mainly why. It has shown to help with the pain of teething! But these beauties are not just for little ones! Any age can benefit from the soothing effects when wearing amber jewelry. It is commonly known to help with arthritis pain, discomforts of menopause, headaches, joint pain and so many more.
Check out these 3 beauties! Which one is your favourite?
