Yarn Eyes Vs "Safety" Eyes 👀

I have gotten a few questions on why I use yarn to make eyes instead of the plastic "safety" eyes you see on other artists stuffies and the answer is simple- they are not that safe!

Safety eyes, despite their name, are not actually safe for babies or children. They can come apart or break if they're chewed or mishandled making them a choking hazard.

Since most of my stuffies are made for babies and toddlers (or are easily accessible to them) I use yarn eyes, or embroidery making these stuffies safe for any age!
