One thing that I really love about this stencil holder is the ability to lift the screen up and see if I need to spray more airbrush colour on the cookie. If I want to spray more, I can easily put the screen back down and add more without messing up the alignment of the stencil.

Note that I placed our clear turntable mat under the cookie to elevate it slightly so it sits snug under the stencil.

I always spray a bit of water under the non slip mat. This keeps it in place on my work surface. I then spray a bit of water on top of the mat and place the stencil holder on top. This also keeps it from sliding around. Sometimes I place the turntable mat under my cookie to elevate it slightly so it sits snug under the stencil. I roll 1/4” thick and find I sometimes need the extra lift.

When airbrushing, using a silk screen attachment with your stencil holder will help prevent underspray/overspray and leave you with a clean looking airbrushed design.

Our “No Dough” cookies come in handy for content creation when you don’t want to waste cookie dough!
I filmed a quick video the other day, took photos then removed the royal icing from the faux cookie. Quick and easy!

You can find a variety of shapes and sizes of the “no dough” cookies on our website. We can also turn any shape cookie cutter from our website in to these practice cookies.

I used one of our PYO Dino stencils to create the white outline with royal icing. You can also airbrush the design on the cookie.
This is a great option if you don’t have a projector.

Sometimes I get my stencil design perfect with just one swipe! 😍 with trial and error, I have found that the less icing I use when stenciling, the better results I achieve
I’m using the amazing Sweet Stencil Holder to keep the stencil securely in place. I’ve also placed a small clear mat under the cookie to elevate it just a bit so it sits snug under the stencil (it’s the clear turntable mat that we carry).

We just added 4 new Little Dinosaur Paint your stencils to the shop - so cute! 🦖🦖

These new edible paint palettes are super pigmented and are water activated 🎨
