The evolution of Rich Hill Candles has spanned over 50 years from a candle maker with a hobby and a dream, to one of Muskoka's favourite shopping destinations. The business has been operating with its second generation as the main driving force behind its push forward, for the past 15 years. Shaun & Kyle Francis, both sons of Bob & Barb, are enjoying their leadership roles in continuing the family

business legacy. Having downsized and moved away from larger manufacturing, the company is very focused on individual customer needs and providing solutions to those with candle questions and concerns. Customer service from this all-Canadian company is their soul driving force.

Do you remember the excitement of making something with your own hands?
The first two photos in this carousel were taken over 20 years ago. Looking at them, it's amazing how little has changed. Kids still light up when they pour their own candle. Parents still grab photos they'll keep forever. And families still leave with more than just a candle.
After all these years, we've realized we aren't just making candles—we're helping create memories that last long after the wax is gone.

No mail-in, no shipping box — just walk into Rich Hill Candles with the jar you already bought, and we'll take it from there.
Every jar we don't remake from scratch is one less thing in a landfill. But honestly, that's not why we started it. We started it because people kept walking in holding empty jars, asking what to do with them.
So now you know: drop it off. We'll let you know when it's ready.
