💙 These forget-me-nots were picked in a Newfoundland garden and pressed into handmade paper one sheet at a time.

I love finding ways to preserve little pieces of nature in the journals I make. Watching flowers that bloomed for only a short time become part of something that can be treasured for years never gets old.

People travel from around the world to see Newfoundland’s icebergs.

I feel incredibly fortunate that on a Saturday afternoon, Annie and I can simply get in the car and drive to one.

This iceberg was especially memorable. Large, grounded close to shore, and close enough to appreciate just how extraordinary these visitors really are.

Newfoundland has a way of inspiring wonder, and that inspiration finds its way into pieces I create. From wildflowers and seaweed gathered along our coastlines to handmade papers and moosehide journals, this place is woven into everything for me.

Some Sundays ask nothing of us except that we slow down.

Rain beating softly against the windows. A warm espresso in hand. A favourite book opened to a passage worth reading twice. A slice of something sweet. A journal waiting patiently nearby to capture the thoughts, ideas, and little moments of wisdom we don’t want to lose.

This moment at in Woody Point felt like a gentle reminder that joy doesn’t always arrive in grand gestures. Sometimes it’s found in the simple ritual of making space for yourself — to read, to reflect, to write, and to be fully present.

This journal is wrapped in a rich olive suede that feels grounded, quiet, and timeless. Its earthy tone brings to mind forest paths, moss-covered stones, and the calm that comes from stepping away from the noise for a little while.

Inside, handmade paper accent pages are infused with wildflowers gathered by hand on the west coast of Newfoundland, preserving small pieces of nature within its pages. The remaining blank pages wait patiently for whatever needs a place to land—thoughts, dreams, plans, sketches, gratitude, or reflection.

Wrapped in a buttery tulip pink leather and accented with soft turquoise suede, it feels like a little piece of joy before you even untie the lacing. The colours are playful, light, and unapologetically happy—a reminder that creativity doesn’t always need to be serious to be meaningful.

Tucked inside are handmade paper accent pages, crafted one sheet at a time and infused with wild lupins handpicked along the west coast of Newfoundland. Small pieces of nature preserved within its pages, carrying a little of summer forward.
