It has been a very productive weekend.
There was even time for a couple little hikes with Rousey and Easter Ham dinner too!
Disappearing 9Patch with a twist. Quilted and Binding is almost complete. I love a colourful quilt of scrappy goodness. This top was created at Retreat a couple weeks ago.
Then I came across this visual effect for littles. I had to give it a whirl. It is on the long arm and may be quilted tomorrow. Black/White+Colours

A bit of a change of pace this weekend.
Picked out a bit of yarn. Starting a shawl. It will take some time, k1p1k1p1 repeating and increase 1, each end in every row. Let's see how big she gets.....😉
Also I was playing with some mini blocks, I am trying my hand at creating block patches.....fun and creative.

Life gets busy ..... And mine does too!
I managed to squeeze in a 4 Day Quilt Retreat during the March break ..... Sew much fun was had by all.
I managed to complete two quilt tops and created a patchwork patch for my sweatshirt. The first of many, for sure.
My stack of tops is getting to a higher number then 5, there may be 7/8 now. I need to start some quilting magic.....very soon.

DreamWeave....this came to me with an idea of weaving fabrics to create something. A little inspiration from a You A Tube Channel and here it is.
My hack on ScrapFabricLove's current quilt along.
I love the rich greens I used for the main element, mixed up with colourful play in the little bits
I began the quilt math in Jan. Top created Feb. Quilted on March 5. Binding completed on March 6.

February.....Wow! There was more accomplished than I expected as I looked over my messy table this morning. A quilt top of my design and my quilt math can work. A cold knocked me down. Made for some prep time for the Sewing group when I get back to work. They have several items on their Wish Board for the next few months.

My winter time is often spent in the sewing room. After creating a couple hearts for a couple comfort quilt creations, some Quilty friends are building. It felt right to continue in the heart theme.
16 hearts ready, four more to create/finish. The layout will be determined tomorrow, maybe. Should I make 5 more as well......maybe.....💜🩷🩶😉

Snow day made for a quilt day. Full disclosure, it was my plan all along. I tried out a new to me Quilt-as-you-go (QAYG) method for a littles quilt. I enjoyed the process. It is Uber cuteness.
Today's weather brings too crazy cold makes for a craft day. So I'm tending to some future works for my day gig groups. So cute and we have some fun plans for them as well.
