Cheers to your Heart ~Month
💗💓🩷❤️💗💓🩷💗
Did you know...
The calf muscles are called the "second heart" because they acts as a pump. Regular movement or even walking will activate the calf muscles to contract triggering the “calf pump system” in the lower limb. The calf pump system pushes de-oxygenated blood from the lower limb (legs) back up towards the heart against gravity. This system helps maintain proper circulation, which in turn reduces blood pooling, and helps to prevent venous issues like varicose, spider veins and thrombosis. This month, think about heart health. Compression socks help your “second heart” remain healthy. See your local ACHI dealer for a fabulous treat for your legs and feet. Happy Heart Month!
