Blessed Beltane! We are 1/2 way between spring equinox and summer solstice! For pagans, Beltane is the holiday that celebrates the time of year when the God and Goddess are equal in power and the masculine and feminine energies are united. The holiday celebrates their union through traditions such as fertility rites, fire festivals (Beltain means “bright fire”), and dancing around the maypole.
Some symbols of Beltane:
* Colors: yellow, pink, orange, blue
* Crystals: pillar crystals or wands in yellow jasper, citrine, or rose quartz
* Flowers: sunflowers, daisies, coneflowers, cowslips, elderflowers
How to celebrate Beltane:
1. Dance around the May pole
2. Wear flower crowns
3. Have great s*x 🙂
4. Have a fire or go to a fire festival
5. Bake bannock cakes on the fire
6. Drink fermented drinks or flowery drinks

Many cultures have celebrated spring using many of the same symbols for fertility and rebirth.

Flowers: Flowers are a symbol of renewal and growth
Eggs: Eggs are a symbol of fertility and new life
Baby animals: Spring is the time when many baby animals are born, making them a powerful symbol of renewal and new beginnings

Ostara activities can include practices like planting seeds, or meditating on the energy of new growth. Take some time to celebrate the new life that surrounds you in nature–walk in a park, lay in the grass, hike through a forest. As you do so, observe all the new things beginning around you–plants, flowers, insects, birds. Meditate upon the ever-moving Wheel of the year, and celebrate the change of seasons.

To the woman at the grocery store who handed me this bouquet of flowers and smiled and said “this is for you”, thank you for being one of the light workers who is helping other women to rise right now. Paying it forward is one of the best ways to bring a smile to someone’s face, and to bring love energy to the planet right now. Right now our bodies are getting back to remembering what we know, and this is why more and more people are going back to natural ways of healing. When I die
I want my body to rot.
Let me be good meat
for the vultures

bone and memory

into an ancestor of the land.

Blessed Imbolc!
Today is the day to celebrate the change from winter to spring. This is the day half way between each! We celebrate the goddess Brigid (or St.Brigid in Christianity) and we do things like light fires to honour her. We can make straw dolls dressed in white and decorated with early spring greenery, or Brigid crosses, also made of straw, to bless the fields where the crops will soon be planted.
Other Imbolc traditions include spring cleaning —especially sweeping with straw brooms—and visiting running water such as a stream or river and dipping a ribbon in then hanging it from a tree for luck.
Imbolc is also a day for fires—whether a bonfire over which you roast your dinner or just a small candle lit to honor the return of the sun. Traditional foods include anything roasted, and drinking milk or eating cheese.
What ever you do today, think of the changing seasons and energies to bring you luck in your home and life!
