Celebrating 10 Years of Service! 🎉

Congratulations to Edna Williamson on celebrating an incredible 10 years with Southland Co-op!

Edna has been a valued member of the team at our Lafleche Food Store, where she has become a familiar and friendly face to our members and an important part of our Southland Co-op family.

Over the past decade, Edna has brought her dedication, reliability, and friendly spirit to work each day. Her willingness to help, care for our members, and support her coworkers is truly appreciated.

Ten years is an incredible milestone, and we’re so grateful for all the time, hard work, and commitment Edna has given to Southland Co-op and the Lafleche community. ❤️

⛽❤️ Fuel Good Day is Coming! ❤️⛽

Mark your calendars — September 15, 2026!

Fuel Good Day is about more than filling up your tank. It’s about coming together to fill our communities with good. ❤️

On Fuel Good Day, a portion of fuel sales at participating Southland Co-op locations will go toward supporting local community organizations right here in the communities we serve.

And we’re making it even more special! 🎉

Each of our Service Centre locations will have a BBQ hosted by local organizations, giving them another opportunity to raise funds and connect with the people in their community. 🌭🍔

We’ll be sharing more in the coming weeks about the amazing organizations receiving support, along with more details about the BBQs and everything happening on September 15.

And who knows… we may even have a few surprises in store! 👀 Stay tuned!

So fill up, grab a bite, bring a friend, and help us make a difference right here at home.

Because when we fuel up, our community fuels up too. ❤️

We’re looking for 3 enthusiastic people to join our Festival of Trees Committee and help bring this year’s event to life! 🎄✨

Whether you enjoy planning, decorating, organizing, connecting with the community or simply want to be part of a fun event, we’d love to have you!

🎄 What’s the time commitment?
It’s very manageable, with most of the work happening closer to the event:

📅 September: 1 meeting
📅 October: 1 meeting
📅 November: 2 meetings
✨ December: Light prep day + full setup day + Festival of Trees event day + day after take-down/pick-up
📅 January: Wrap-up & planning meeting

No previous committee experience is needed, just a willingness to pitch in, share ideas and work as part of a team!

Good Day!

This is the last Saturday and Sunday that the Assiniboia and District Historical Museum will be open for the season.

If you were planning on coming to the Museum on a weekend, this is your opportunity.

As students have to get ready for returning to school, we do want to thank them for all that they have done.

We are looking for volunteers to help us out on September 15th, 2026 at the Assiniboia Gas Bar!

We are very excited and honoured to have been chosen as the charity for Southland Co-op Ltd. Fuel Good Day 2026.

We are looking forward to spending the day in the Assiniboia community, meeting new people, connecting with friends, and sharing a bit about what we do here at Bon Ami!

It is going to be a busy and fun day. We are looking for volunteers to help us with the BBQ and the event throughout the day.
