Dorothy Anne Pelkey (1939-2026)
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Dorothy Anne Pelkey, who went home to be with her Lord on Friday, July 10, 2026. Dorothy was predeceased by her beloved husband, Ron, whom she dearly missed.
Dorothy was a devoted wife, a loving mother, a proud grandmother and great-grandmother, and a cherished friend to many. She leaves behind her children: David (Denise), Mark (Anna), and Carlee (Eddy).
She was the proud and loving grandmother of David (Hannah), Abbey (Ian), Hannah (Jesse), Noah, Sam, Jonah, and Issac. Her greatest joy continued to grow with the arrival of her treasured great-grandchildren: Nehemiah, Rhema, Ezekiel, Zipporah, Joshua, and Easton with another precious great-granddaughter on the way. Each one held a special place in her heart and brought her immeasurable happiness.
Dorothy will be remembered for her gentle spirit, kind heart, unwavering love for her family, and the quiet strength with which she faced life's challenges. She had a remarkable ability to make those around her feel welcomed, cared for, and loved. Whether through a warm conversation, a thoughtful gesture, or simply her comforting presence, Dorothy touched countless lives in ways that will never be forgotten.
Her family was the center of her world, and the legacy she leaves behind is one of love, faith, compassion, and unwavering devotion. Though our hearts are saddened by her passing, we find comfort in knowing she has been reunited with Ron and is now at peace.
Dorothy's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed, forever remembered, and always loved.
In keeping with Dorothy's wishes, a private family funeral service will be held. The family sincerely appreciates the love, prayers, and support shown during this difficult time.
