The Confederacy of Mainland Mi’kmaq, on behalf of our Board of Directors and staff, extends our heartfelt condolences to the family of Elder Judy Y. Bernard-Julian, the community of Paqtnkek Mi’kmaw Nation, and all whose lives were touched by her incredible wisdom, strength, and love.

Judy was a beacon of resilience and compassion, and her legacy will forever inspire and guide us. We are keeping her family and community in our thoughts during this difficult time.
