She sells sea shells by the sea shore. And a whole lot more! Carol decided to go on a merchandising bender in the back room, and oh boy, is there some good stuff back there. Colour, colour, colour! (Or if you're in the States) Color, color, color! Weeeeeeeee!!! Big Vintage is in full bloom this Pride month, and we have banned all doom and gloom from the premises.

The Window Twins have built a humongous hive of heavenly hues in the front window, and there is so much good stuff! Gorgeous glassware, neon apparel, and bespangled danglers galore. See you in the rainbow, besties!

This is just a guess, but I think our dear Carol may have a thing for the King. Elvis Alert! She just couldn't wait to scoop together all the Elvis-a-bilia that's come in recently. Original Elvis lobby cards and movie posters; an original Elvis picture disc; ALL of his movies on DVD; Presley X-Mas ornaments; records, books, and even an Elvis lamp (still lights up, but lost his wiggle).

A lot of the E-swag has already left the building, and good on you, Carol! It's a display fit for a king, indeed. 🎵💙🎵💙🎵💙🎵💙🎵

Hey Mississippi Millers! We don't get these in very often. Commemorative Mississippi Mills jacquard throw blankets. With all the big landmarks. Not sure, but we believe these were from the 80's or 90's, made for a fundraiser. We'd appreciate any history about them if you have it. Great piece of local history. And only $55. Seriously!

What an exciting day! They filmed a scene from a movie in Big Vintage today. It's called "The Friendly Town," and the crew were so professional and fantastic. (Hoping I didn't leave anyone out of the pics.) Of course, it's a Christmas flick, and a takeoff of the typical Hallmark romance. I even got a tiny part as "The Shop Lady."

And while that was happening at the top of the hill, half way down at OVC, Hallmark was actually filming a Hallmark romance, but this one is set in the Fall. Ooh la la la! This town gets more exciting every day. Stay tuned for details when the movies come out.
