The Christmas preparations have begun!
I am currently prepping ornaments for the first tree of my very own.
The theme is woodland winter and the first on the list to do were these delightful pinecone by Frankie Brown!
These must be stored safely in the drawer of my desk to keep them out of reach of the kitties, as Daisy has decided that pinecones are her favorite toys.
Next up holly and berries from the same designer!

This Pride Month, I would like to shout out all the people who are scared to accept themselves for who they are because they have been taught that who they are is wrong.

I want to shout out all the q***r folks who take a while to come out because they are afraid that, deep down, they are really just doing it for the attention.

I want to shout out all the people who fear that family and friends wont accept them as they are.

And a big shout out to the whole proud community that continues to stand strong in the face of adversity.

The past few weeks have been an interesting time for me personally.
I have had super exciting things happen! I moved out for the first time, and I adopted the sweetest, most precosious kitten, Amanda.
I have also been through some struggles. I tried driving to work when I was half asleep and ended up rolling over in a ditch and totalling my car. Luckily I escaped with only a small bump on the head and a few scratches. But the stress of the accident and trying to find a new car has really made these last few weeks tough on me. The fact that I struggle with severe anxiety has only made it worse.

But here is to the future, to knitting with my beautiful kitten either curled up beside me or trying to eat my needles, to independance, to growing through all the struggles life has.

A few months ago I started a tea subscription from Dollar Tea Club . Every month I recieve a box in the mail that contains three large pouches of tea and three sampler pouches of tea. I love the variety they send me. (not a sponsored post, just love my subscription!)

What is your favourite kind of tea? My absolute mainstay is Earl Grey, but I love to switch it up, especially with other black teas!

Knitting has had a monumental role in my life ever since picking up my first set of needles at eight years old. Since then, I came to realize that knitting not only improved my overall concentration; it gave me a passion that I could share with others.

After an avalanche of knit blankets, hats, scarves, and stuffed toys for my family and friends, I realized that I had created products that people of all ages found comforting. It was at that moment that I knew I wanted to continue to share my love for knitting by creating hand-knitted goods that everyone would enjoy.
