Introducing Mr. And Mrs. Whitton!

Today Gary and I are celebrating our 34th anniversary but 4 weeks ago today we were celebrating Craig and Hannah’s beautiful wedding.
The ceremony took place on a lovely property The Barn Event Rentals in Aldergrove with close family and friends and the reception took place at the beautiful home and property of close family friend’s of Hannah’s. Thank you Russ and Paula so much for opening up your home for the wedding, we can’t thank you enough!
Here are a few pictures taken that day of the beautiful bride, Hannah and our son Craig (with one shot of our family, Gary, Amy, Craig and I after the ceremony). The gorgeous bridal and bridesmaids bouquets and Craig’s boutonniere were done by Styled by Wild | Aldergrove Flower Delivery. I prepped the rest of the flowers and did the two urns, welcome sign (made by Gary and Hannah did the writing with the help of a friend) and some of the 32 vases on the tables with help from other ladies (friends and family) after the rehearsal the evening before the wedding.
I sourced all of the vintage china and silverware, serving bowls for the candy bar and most of the brass candle holders that were used on the tables, as well as a few other touches. It was a busy time but also a joint effort with Hannah and Craig and friends which made for a special and personalized wedding that everyone enjoyed! Hannah did an amazing job of bringing her vision to fruition and it was lovely.
Just thought I would share photos since many people have been asking me to and I am finally able to catch a breath, as we are on a mini vacation on Vancouver Island for our anniversary. I have already started to add brass candle holders into my booths from the wedding and other items like silverware sets will be coming in the future.

What a day we had today Vintage Pasture Sale, from pouring rain to hot sun, it turned out to be another fantastic market!
Thank you everyone who turned out and supported us and the other amazing vendors! We appreciate it so much!!
Thank you Copper Reata | Kathryn Dolphin and Amanda Upton for organizing such an incredible event and including us in your vendor lineup, we are always very grateful to be here!
I am also very grateful to have a dear friend Kirsten Clarke who is always willing to lend a hand and help me out at this market, along with my hubby who always supports me at my markets, I couldn’t do it without their help, thank you❤️

The restock The Hayloft Vintage Mall vintage + antiques this week had me bring in lots of glass pieces in the blue range, pale blue to turquoise, cobalt and into purple. All gorgeous pieces on their own or in a group. You will find mid century Chalet and Fenton glass, handblown art glass items and molded glass pieces.
I also added some Limoges porcelain pieces as well and a few other bits so please come in to take a look.
We have an array of vendors in here and some new ones that you may not have seen before so please come for a visit!

It’s all about pink this week at Gathered Vintage Jessie & Ella Hurley in Lougheed Mall!
I restocked my booth with a beautiful collection of cranberry glass pieces, bowls, vases, apothecary vessels and even a chip and dip set with a gorgeous pink hue. A few pieces are Victorian, with the others being mostly mid century era or later.
If you love this type of glass hurry on in for the best selection!
I brought in other items as well, like Limoges trinket boxes and plates and some silver plated sets of butter knives with beautiful designs, perfect for that charcuterie board at your next party.
This colour makes me happy and I hope it makes you happy too! Have a great weekend!

It has been only 6 days since the shop Gathered Vintage Jessie & Ella Hurley has opened in Lougheed City Mall in Burnaby B.C. And we are overwhelmed by the positive response and feedback from the shoppers who have come into the store!
If you have come in to check it out or have made purchases from us or other vendors, thank you so much!
Everyone has worked so hard to get the store up and running, especially our fearless leaders, Jessie and Ella of messybeansvintage who had the vision of a multiple vendor store inside of a shopping mall to provide a different shopping experience for you all.
I can’t thank my customers enough for your purchases, I am so happy that these beautiful items have found new homes!

Yesterday I expanded slightly so I will be able to offer a few more items than I could before. I now have more wall space for artwork and will be adding to that in the days to come.
Here are a few photos of new items I added into my booth yesterday. I will be in at least once a week to restock and I know the other vendors will be as well, so please come in and look around often, as things will constantly be changing. Remember too, if you see something you like you better buy it it because there is no guarantee it will be there when you return. Items are flying off the shelves!

I need to show you the most exquisite antique little cabinet teacup and saucer I have ever seen!
It is an absolute work of art, made in fine porcelain, it is all hand painted and has beautiful applied florals. It was made by Meissen in Germany.
One like this is hard to find but it can be yours!
