Each piece is beautifully hand-blown glass made in Kamenice nad Lipou glass factory, one of the oldest existing glass manufacturing companies in Europe and the oldest in Czech Republic. Colour variations are traditionally cobalt blue, granite red, emerald green, and deep purple. These rich colours are produced locally from the mining of minerals and ores within the region. gold accents are also in

dividually applied by craftsmen whose families have handed down these skills for many generations. The deep vibrant colour and detail of the accent that makes this glass so desirable is achieved through a process of several applications of paint, with each layer being fired individually before the next layer is applied.
