HEY, HAVE YOU VOTED YET? Cadence Phillips has entered the Youth Challenge for Canadian Quilters' Association in June in Winnipeg. Cadence is Pinheads newest employee! She designed the quilt, chose her own fabrics, pieced and quilted this all by herself, with only a wee bit of help from gramma to assist with showing her how to do the binding.

Artist Statement: This quilt is inspired by my trip to Champion Lakes in British Columbia and the surrounding natural landscape. I used colours and textures to represent the water, trees, hills, and mountains of the area. With this quilt, I aim to capture the memories made on this road trip.
