Job Title:
Abbotsford Store Worker
Main Purpose of the Job:
Northside Pete Products, Inc. is an industrial goods supplier that operates convenience stores and warehouses on local truck stop lots. This purpose of this job is to assist current staff in the day to day operations activities. Responsibilities include but are not limited to cashier duties, cleaning duties and regularly lifting 50 lbs.
Job Location:
929 Coutts Way, Abbotsford, BC
Shift Schedule
Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5PM.
Compensation
Hourly Rate: 17.00/per hour with an increase upon completion of probationary period.
Health Benefits: Employee will be given the opportunity to join the company health care plan (50% of monthly premium being employee’s responsibility)
Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to
Station care, clean up garbage, spills maintenance etc.
Shipping and receiving
Lifting 50 lbs sometimes repeatedly
Lot care: Store cleaning , empty garbage , bathrooms, showers, ect
Cashier: provide customer service, handle cash , take credit card payments ect
stocking, merchandising, customer service
Qualifications:
The following qualifications are essential to the job.
English speaking (with some reading involved)
Ability to arrive on time and maintain a set work schedule
Must have a plan for reliable transportation to and from 929 Coutts Way in Abbotsford, BC
Ability to lift 50lbs multiple times a day
Ability to clean and organize
Comfortable speaking to people
Be willing to work alone for short periods of time
Working Conditions:
The employee will be asked to work in the following conditions:
Clean the lot, this will require exposure to the elements
Work alone for short periods of time
May have to clean up fuel or oil spills
Will be asked to lift heavy objects (50lbs)
