Thank You Thank You Thank You! You did it!!!
Vanessa has met her fundraising goals so far for her cancer treatment, pending hearing from her doctor that she’s gone into remission. She has a bit more chemotherapy, radiation and testing to go. And I want to thank not only the monetary donors but those of you who prayed for her strength, resilience and healing.

Vanessa V Nzekwe needs our help. Your favorite manager from Tapper’s Dive Bar was diagnosed with cancer earlier this year and had surgery on September 2. She started chemotherapy and radiation in Chetumal Mexico on November 9 and has 9 more sessions. She is doing her therapy with Dr. Marlene Okvera, Monday to Fridays and rests on the weekend by going back to Belize to see her children. Every 2 weeks she has to have a CT scan which is $500 U.S. So far she has spent $4350 U.S. on medication and treatment, tests, housing, transportation, food and other essentials. After she completes her treatments she won’t be able to work right away while she gets her strength back.
She is running out of money and urgently needs another $3,000 U.S. to complete these sessions.
