She hates to say this, but a woman working 40+ hours a week, carrying the mental load, managing the home, solving problems, and holding everything together alone is not going to have endless softness left to give.
Not because she’s difficult.
Not because she’s less feminine.
But because survival mode changes people.
A woman who feels unsupported cannot fully rest in her softness when she is constantly forced to stay in her strength.
So if you can’t ease her load, at the very least, don’t become another weight she has to carry.
