Hi there👋🏽 It’s been a while since I’ve introduced myself to our new followers.

If you are new here, Welcome! I hope to inspire you and provide you with the fashion escape we alll need from time to time, while keeping content curious and inspiring.

My name is Apryl Burrows, I was born and raised in Nassau Bahamas, studied fashion design at and specialized in fashion art at in Florence.

I am the founder and Creative Director at Apryl Jasmine for over 2 decades have designed for some of the most influential women in The Bahamas. From politicians to beauty queens, to brides and creative entrepreneurs, I help women show up with sophistication and style.

After almost 23 years in business, I remain curious about what’s next….I’m a risk taker, always pivoting when it’s required. I find myself now pivoting again.

Recently I’ve been questioning my purpose as an artist/designer, and keep coming back to cultural heritage and Caribbean designers global contribution to that heritage. So.. the next chapter of my creative journey will be to explore and engage the topic of ‘Bahamian Creative Cultural Heritage’ and how it shows up in my designs.

I must say, I haven’t been inspired or excited about a project in a long time… this is exciting to me and I promise to take you on this journey of discovering our heritage through fashion and wearable art.

It was indeed a proud moment to assist with the representation of ‘us’ at such a major event.
