Just a reminder that we will be meeting tomorrow June 18 at 10 a.m. for a Black Purl Stitch Together! Bring whatever project you're working on or just yourself if you're interested in finding out why the fibre arts are the best 🧶. All are welcome!

We'll find a shady spot and if you don't see us please feel free to DM. If the weather isn't great we'll head over to Brew and find a comfy nook. Keep an eye on our stories for updates.

Did you get a chance to knit in public today? I had a few hours to chill in Dockyard, so I grabbed a scenic spot to work on a project (this is the by in a cotton linen blend).

While we're still on the look out for a new space it would be great to reconnect with all our knitters. I'll be meeting in Queen Elizabeth II Park next Saturday at 10 a.m., and it would be great to see some familiar faces and new ones! Bring along whatever project you're working on (doesn't need to be knitting, just portable). We'll chat about organizing a regular meet up and what times and days work best - I'm thinking a coffee shop day time one and a cocktail hour oceanside one, but would love your input too!

Please excuse our radio silence, it has been A LOT this past month, and I've been meaning to get this post out for a while now. Our retail location is temporarily closed as we transition into some exciting new adventures. While we don't have a physical shop at the moment, we are still out here bringing all the yarn-y goodness and love - so please watch this space! Not everyone has access to online patterns or loves them in that format, so we've been really thankful to our customers who have kindly donated their old pattern books and magazines that they no longer use. We've had many people enjoy these and give them new life, and we love going through some of the more "vintage" ones!

We plan to open today but with different hours, and it will probably be a bit inconsistent with hours for the time being. Today we will open at 12 until 3. Please bear with us as we navigate the next week or so and the upheaval that is happening with schools and virtual learning (I'm trying not to be frustrated, but some of these arbitrary decisions are making it hard to stay calm - thank goodness for rage knitting 🤣).

Might be best to call or DM ahead of stopping by this week to check on our opening times, but I look forward to being back in the shop as much as I can at the moment!

Unfortunately we will be closed today. I'm not sure when we will be able to open again this week, but please DM me with any queries and fingers crossed we will be back again soon! Hope everyone is taking care right now especially after so much upheaval for so long. Keep those projects close and make sure to take some time for yourself 🤗
