As the end of July approaches, that can only mean one thing - it’s time for our garment collaboration with Hogfish Maine once again ✨🤞 We’ve had the pleasure of designing and executing beautiful pieces for Hogfish’s upcoming show “Wholly Unwinding: The Canticle of Cerebral Palsy” written by Hailey McAvoy Hailey McAvoy

“We all have scars. Some seen, others hidden. Each tells a story or is a marker of an experience that, although painful, became part of who we are. What happens though when we don’t just look at the scars but try to learn and grow through them—to honor how they helped us step into the people we are today? In Wholly Unwinding creator Hailey McAvoy lets her scars of growing up with Cerebral Palsy sing, and take us on her journey of healing and acceptance. With inspiration from an amalgamation of artists like Joni Mitchell, the Jackson Five, Hildegard von Bingen and The Chicks to name a few, this multi-genre work defies categorization as does a true definition of the healing process. Part musical, part folk concert, part old-time roof-raising spirituals with stories around the campfire, Wholly Unwinding invites us to come home to our bodies by singing the songs of our scars.”
