Originally from Taiwan, bubble tea also known as "Pearl tea" has evolved from a tea based drink to include a variety of fruit flavours. The drink is often shaken which creates bubbles when poured on top of the delicious "jelly like" tapioca pearls at the bottom of the drink. The drink has gained popularity internationally and is now being served from the streets of LA to the markets of Hong Kong, and now, for the first time in Bahrain!
