By tradition, the 1st of May is reserved for the annual garden party alternately @ Les Damiers (Cassel) and Guldenspoor (Kortrijk) ; this year, however, was a new format, with start and finish at Mistral Classics / Cady Cars in Ypres and a coffee stop at the Pund’s in Cassel. The weather gods were more than kind to us, and the 1962 MGA Roadster performed well through the beautiful Westhoek and northern France. What else do one need more?

Last weekend, we attended the 10th anniversary edition of Interclassics Brussels and displayed our 1951 Lancia Aurelia B10 Berlina on the Lancia Club Belgio stand while enjoying all other beautiful cars on show. Congratulations to the entire Interclassics team for this fantastic event!

Back home from the 52th International Auto-Union Veteranen Treffen in Beveren-Belgium this year. We had a great time meeting old and new friends with our 1955 DKW (Das Kleine Wunder) F91 Sonderklasse, delivered new in France (Lyon) and in the collection since 2016. Back home for New Year's Eve from a short trip to Turin where we visited the impressive Lingotto factory and recently opened Centro Storico Fiat in Corso Dante. If car heaven exists, it has to be the capital of Italian car industry. Molto interessante e bellissima, che grande città Torino!

What a great experience we had last Wednesday 25 September in this 1927 BNC 527 'Montlhery' during BEHVA Spa 6hours Prewar run. If car heaven exists, this should come close ;-) although the weather gods could have been a little more gentle, this little gem performed great through the pouring rain.

What an incredible weekend we had @ the 7th edition of Vintage Revival Montlhéry celebrating the 100th anniversary of the legendary circuit. We were present with our 1920 Bontemps Type A and 1924 Renault MT 6CV ducktail. Hopefully this top event will continue to exist it truly is one of a kind. Thank you to the entire VRM crew, participants and visitors for this wonderful experience.

Yesterday one of the design grandmasters passed away RIP Marcello Gandini (26/08/1938 - 13/03/2024) father of the legendary Lamborghini Miura, Bravo, Marzal, Espada, Jarama, Countach, Diablo and other top designs including Alfa Romeo Carabo & Montreal, BMW Garmisch, Citroën BX, Fiat X1/9, Dino (Ferrari) 308 GT/4, Lancia Stratos (Zero) & Sibilo, Maserati Khamsin & Shamal. Marcelo Gandini ruled the 60s and 70s at (Nuccio) Bertone studios before starting his own design house. Thank you Maestro Gandini for your automotive legacy.
